  • IFLA Library Map of the World

    IFLA globally called for data of member countries to create a Global Library Map which was presented in IFLA Conference held in 19-25 August 2017 in Poland. On behalf of Nepal, NLA was given the responsibility to be the data contributor to collect data from Nepal and send available data in mid August to be in IFLA Library Map of the world (Global Library Map).   • INTERACTION PROGRAM ON IFLA GLOBAL VISION

    NLA and Dilliraman-Kalyani Regmi Memorial Library jointly organized an Interaction Program on IFLA Global Vision on 22 June, 2017 at Dilliraman-Kalyani Regmi Memorial Library.   • Positive development in library and information field an interaction Program

    NLA organized “Positive thinking and stress management”   targeting Library professionals at Kathmandu Valley Public Library  in November 2015. The resource person, Mr Himalayeswar Thapa, a former Senior Librarian delivered speech on positive thinking. The program was followed by practical demonstration i.e. meditation, to change life style by doing exercises, works etc. A total of 18 Librarians actively participated in this program.
