The Nepal Library Association (NLA) is committed to supporting the professional development and employment opportunities for library and information science professionals in Nepal. In light of the current job market challenges, we are initiating a registration drive for unemployed library professionals.

Objective: To create a comprehensive database of unemployed library professionals in Nepal, facilitating job matching and career development opportunities.

Who Can Register:

  • Library professionals with degrees or diplomas in Library and Information Science.
  • Individuals with work experience in library settings who are currently unemployed.
  • Recent graduates seeking their first employment in the library sector.
  • Professionals with 3 months training from the reputed institution.

Benefits of Registration:

  • Access to job listings and employment opportunities shared by the NLA.
  • Invitations to professional development workshops, training sessions, and networking events.
  • Support in resume building, interview preparation, and career counseling.
  • Opportunities for temporary or part-time assignments in libraries across Nepal.

How to Register:

  1. Online Registration:

    • Navigate to the “Careers” section: Careers Hub
    • Fill out the online registration form with your details and submit.
  2. Email Registration:
    • Register your information using google/form from [NLA website URL].
    • Fill out the form and submit it online with the subject line “Unemployed Professionals Registration”.
  3. In-Person Registration:
    • Visit the NLA office at during office hours.
    • Complete the registration form available at the front desk.
